(Tokyo, Japan) – DVERSE Inc. (a Virtual Reality software developer registered in Delaware, US; with Shogo Numakura as CEO; here forth, “DVERSE”) announces that it has entered into a capital and business partnership agreement with Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; with Shingo Kaneko as Representative Director; here forth “Toppan”) on May 31, 2017, based on which DVERSE has issued convertible equity to Toppan in exchange for a US$1 million investment into DVERSE. In addition to this, DVERSE will integrate SYMMETRY-alpha features – a PC-based VR software that enables viewing of 3D CADs, communication, and workflow management in VR – with Toppan’s know-how and technologies to jointly develop a VR solution-service.
SYMMETRY-alpha is VR software that easily converts 3D CADs into VR for anyone to view with HMD (head-mount displays) equipment; and enables clients to immerse themselves inside of visual ideas, as well as to manage smooth workflow and communication of ideas. SYMMETRY-alpha is currently compatible with 3D modeling software SketchUp by Trimble (a US-based company), with over 30 million activations in just one year.
